At end of the day in Bali, the beach is a great place to meet friends and make new ones.
It is tradition for many Balinese, especially the younger crowd, to meet, chat, play some guitar and sing, exercise and generally catch up with their friends. As a foreigner, you will often have people come up and talk to you, some simply are interested to know about you, where you are from etc, and many students like to find foreigners to practise their English with. There are people selling all kinds of souvenirs, many selling bracelets and especially "Tridatu bracelets".
For Hindu people, in Bali, Tri Datu etymologically comes from the word “tri” which means three, and “datu” means king, so Tri Datu means thereof kings.
Tridatu Bracelet is not a magic talisman. It is a symbol of The God in Tri Murti manifestation, and is always worn on the right hand side wrist.
